wearing : Floral Sunday

shirt; FOREVER 21 / skirt and flats; H&M

I was quite inspired by the lovely spring weather and the flowers I've been buying to brighten up my house. I wore this to church last Sunday. It was fun, casual and very cute (or so I think so). I actually wore the maxi skirt to work and everyone was looking at me. I just shrugged, said I went to church (not a lie) and kept on walking. It was a good outfit to go to work in. I loved the free and flowing feeling it gave me. I think maxis are going to be a must for me this Summer!

lately : Hello Spring

lately: I've been buying flowers every week, taking pictures and editing them (or some of them; you can see in my instagram) I've been working, and my sister has been sick. Still.

I've been buying flowers lately; I just can't help myself. They make me happier. They liven the kitchen and I bring them into my room to give it more of a fresh feel and it works. I've boughten Tulips, Hydrangeas, and small bud Roses. And these pink ones in the picture, the name escapes me, but they're so pretty and last a while once I prune them and keep them in clean water. I was surfing the web and I came about these tips from A Pair and Spare on how to pick fresh flowers from the market. Easy and informative. I've been trying to make more time for taking pictures and learn more about my skills and weaknesses in photography. And as always, I'm working quite a bit. I have to make that cash for NYC! And the down side in everything is that my sister is sick. Nothing life threatening, but still, she's pretty weak and that reflects in both her appearance and mood. Thankfully, she's getting better little by little every day. Well, that's it for now. I'll try to post more of what I'm buying and the likes. Have a good night!

#PoshParty in San Francisco

a selfie with Anna from Little Big Heart

These pictures are a little late, but I just had to post them. I had quite a bit of fun and laughs with other Poshers. And it made it all the better that they were all from the San Francisco Bay Area. I met Anna from a Little Big Heart and she was supper nice and friendly! I just love her blog, you have got to go check it out!
Well, that's all for now, I  have to get to work now. Adios!

in my closet : Oaklandish

Since I'm going to New York I decided to represent while I'm there; the perfect place to go and buy apparel to do that is Oaklandish. I can't wait to rock this shirt in NYC! Ha. Love it.

reading : in the morning

marie claire magazine, a beautiful mess photo idea book, blogging for creatives book, starbucks mug
There's something about reading and drinking coffee at your leisure that I just love.  I bought A Beautiful Mess Photo Idea Book and Blogging for Creatives about a month or two ago and I just love the ideas it gives me. If you want more inspiration and a little more knowledge o blogging then these books are for you. This issue of Marie Claire has some great articles and inspiration on hobbies. And as always, TIm Gunn gives great advice for the workplace. I really like this issue, but I;m not a big fan of Kristen Stewarts. No offense to any fans out there. She's just not my favorite. And with that note, I bid everyone a good night!

wearing : in alleyways

shirt & cardi; FOREVER 21 / skirt; ZARA / shoes; H&M / bag; RALPH LAUREN

At the moment I'm debating to open a tab and shop online or do more researching on NYC. I think I'm going to have to do some research on NYC and hold on off on the shopping. I did some shopping on Friday (I still have to put them up and take them out of the bag). Anyways, this weekend is my last weekend I have off for who knows how long! I'm kinda bummed, but at the same time, I'm okay. I worked half a shift yesterday, hung out with my sister and went out with my old high school buddies. It was awesome! Anyhow... I hope everyone had a great weekend, luckily I have tomorrow off; Yay!
